I picked up this fabric the other day and it’s a perfect match for a bench I’ve been meaning to finish! I refinished and painted this vintage mid century bench in Homestead House Paint Co. coal black and added a coat of Fusion Mineral Paint clear furniture wax. This bold geometric patterned upholstery fabric is the perfect combo! What do you think? Coming to The Snyder Collection shortly!!

Rescued from the university area of Charlottesville, this table needed way more work than I anticipated. Removing layers of brown and green paint was not the least bit fun. This projects makes me believe I’ll never restore a piece that requires stripping. It was messy and time consuming. After more hours than I care to admit, I was finally able to get to sanding and refinishing. I used white stain and finishing oil, along with satin Ultra Guard, for a durable top. It’s solid oak and incredibly heavy. I love the cottage style and feel of this table.

Taking something old and making it new again. I love the idea of salvaging and repurposing. I found this Pottery Barn curtain panel while thrifting. The border material was faded, but I liked the primary material and thought it had potential. It’s now at home in my dining room as two new pillows. I still have more material, so maybe another set of pillows still to come!!
