♥️ A little note about our buying appointments…

I wanted to take a minute to explain something from my heart, because I know getting a buying appointment can sometimes be frustrating.

The truth is, I am one person. I personally do all of the buying and pricing for the store. Every single item that comes through our doors has to be looked at, selected, priced and prepared to go back out onto the floor.

Each month, we open 100+ buying appointments, and that doesn’t even include our Open Buying Days. Those appointments usually fill within just a few days, and while that is something I am incredibly grateful for, I also know it means some of you don’t get a spot.

I promise, I understand the frustration. ♥️

But our store is only so big. We don’t have storage, so I can only purchase what we need for the current season and what I know we have room for. Our buying budget has limits too. As much as I would LOVE to buy all the things from all the people…I simply can’t.

I’ve had a few people recently become frustrated or upset when they couldn’t get an appointment, and I just want you to know that I’m not holding appointments back, I truly am opening as many as I can physically handle.

And please remember, people DO cancel. When they do, those appointments immediately open back up, so keep checking. 🫶🏻

This little store means the world to me. I show up every day and give it everything I have. I’m incredibly thankful that so many of you choose us to sell your clothing to, because without our amazing sellers, there wouldn’t be a Repeat Boutique.

So if you don’t get an appointment this time, please give me a little grace and try again. I’m doing the very best I can to accommodate as many people as possible while still taking care of the store, my staff and our customers.

I can do anything… but I can’t do everything. ♥️

Thank you for understanding. Thank you for being patient. And most of all, thank you for keeping this little store so busy that 100+ appointments a month aren’t enough. That is something I will never take for granted. 🫶🏻

This is what a GREAT buying day looks like behind the scenes… piles everywhere, shoes waiting to be cleaned up, racks waiting to be filled, and a whole lot of work still ahead of us.

In the last 2 days, we’ve put out nearly 500+ new pieces and we’re working hard tonight to have even MORE ready for you tomorrow morning!

But truly, it’s worth every bit of the work. I love seeing someone find that Free People piece they’ve always wanted but couldn’t justify paying full price for, the perfect pair of jeans they’ve been searching forever for, or that unexpected little hidden gem. That’s why I love resale. ♥️
