🚋 All aboard!

Littleton’s newest trolley has arrived on Main Street—and this one travels through history, community, and imagination.

“Those That Carried Us Here” by Littleton artist Katy Casper (Katy Casper) transforms the side of the building on the corner of Main Street and South Nevada into a vintage trolley carrying some of the people who shaped Littleton. Founders Richard and Angeline Little, longtime physician and mayor Dr. Walter C. Crysler, renowned architect J.J.B. Benedict, community builder Joseph Bowles, and civic leaders Fred and Elizabeth Bemis are all featured.

Native Colorado flowers, wildlife, and pollinators surround the trolley. The design also incorporates an interactive element encouraging visitors to “hop on board” and features community-sourced words describing what Littleton means to residents and visitors. The mural creates a vibrant tribute to the people, places, and values that continue to define Downtown Littleton today.

This mural is the first major installation in the Littleton Downtown Development Authority’s (LDDA) new Public Art Program. Funding from the LDDA, a City of Littleton Arts & Culture Grant, and support from the location’s property owners made this possible.

When: Saturday, 5 PM – 10 PM
The Vibe: Main Street goes completely pedestrian-only for a massive summer kickoff. Expect multiple stages of live music (including That 80s Band), local food trucks, street performers, and a huge fireworks finale at 9 PM! 🎆

The 2026 Downtown Littleton Block Party is bringing the energy with 4 stages + 7 live music acts all night long! Wander between stages, discover new favorites, and catch as many sets as you can!

Headliners:

That Eighties Band () – one of the most popular ‘80s tribute bands in the country, bringing nonstop throwback hits.

Trouble Bound Band () – a Denver-based country-rock band with high-energy, and feel-good sound.
