I especially like quality objects that have survived the test of time and the loving use of previous owners. Our passion is recycling - recycling beautiful and historical objects into our homes and thoughtfully up-cycling decrepit objects into functional pieces - adding years of life to an object. We've had a stream of really interesting barware enter the shop in the past few weeks. Throw that fancy cocktail party you've been dreaming about and roll out a retro bar cart that will impress🍸🥂🍾

The star of the show here is an exceptional early 1900's copper and brass French wine chiller. Wowza.

We went big with blue in our fresh shop windows 💙

It's so much fun to dream up creative reuse ideas with vintage items from our storage unit. We had accumulated a large collection of damaged lamp shades, so voila....a spritz of blue and a new life.

We received many great new items this week including the incredible mid century iron peacock chairs featured in the windows. We have a set of 2 AND a set of 4. Stop by the shop this weekend to see them in person.

We will be open on Sunday (as usual) this Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in all the various mom categories! You make the world spin ✨

Plug for one of our favorite non profit events of the year! Stafford Animal Shelter's annual Furball at Chico Hotsprings never disappoints. This year's event is on Friday, May 15th- get your tickets before they sell out at www.staffordanimalshelter.org

It goes without saying that we are huge animal lovers at Out of the Blue and we proudly support this hard working organization! 🐾🐶😻

New and notable! Some really quality pieces of functional furniture have landed at the shop in the past couple weeks.

1. Large early 1900's dresser. Lots of storage in this handsome bad boy.

2. Mid century teak Danish hutch. Beautiful streamlined details and in excellent condition. The glass and lower slider doors glide like butta.

3. Glass topped 1940's era library table with interesting cut out woodwork. This piece has cool inner bookshelves on the outer sides.

These pieces were all built to last AND they're loaded with style

Shop flip and Friday tour!

It's been a wild and crazy week and as a result we had to reset the shop. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out ✨ There are all kinds of incredible new pieces and the shop feels fresh and springy.
