Our Story

Welcome to Culture and Collection: an online destination for artfully curated vintage and secondhand fashion. My name is Andrea, owner and curator of Culture and Collection. I’m from the beautiful small town of Lockhart, Texas, where I was raised. I am a wife and mother to the sweetest little girl. I am a Part-time Creator of Art, professional thrifter, and I have been in a Love Affair with Vintage Clothing for as long as I can remember! My love for vintage and secondhand fashion comes from the many thrift excursions, and estate sale ventures with my mother over the years. I am a collector of the rarities, curiosities, and antiquities of the world. I have been a long time advocate for secondhand style. I am drawn to old and beautiful things, in particular, clothing that tells a story. My style is simple. I am a style chameleon. I love the mixing and matching of different eras. Down Here in Texas, we have our own unique spin on the fashion scene. From Cowgirls to Hipsters, we've got a little bit of everything. As the trends change, I continue to have a lasting love of Vintage Fashion.

Though I officially established Culture and Collection in 2015, I have been curating, purveying, and collecting vintage and secondhand garments for the past 15 years. I Carefully hand select high quality, wearable, and on trend pieces to add to my Collection. My hope is to inspire shoppers at Culture and Collection to have the audacity to be authentic in their personal style! I am a firm believer that being able to achieve a true sense of personal style, comes with the exploration of all eras of fashion, and of course, accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! After all, fashion is nothing without history.

This online adventure is an exciting new journey for me, however, it's hopefully just the beginning! Someday soon, I hope to open a brick and mortar shop featuring fashion, unique homegoods, and fine art. Until that day comes, I am so thrilled to share my amazing vintage finds with you all!
