🌸UPDATE🌸
Finding the words to make this post has not been easy, so I will get straight to the point: effective September 15th Oh, Charlie will be closing its doors. This hopefully isn’t a long good-bye, but an opportunity to do something new and creative.
This has been one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make, but with lots of thoughts and prayers, it is what is best for my family and I. As our store front doors close, my plans of Oh, Charlie is to continue through social media, the website and going mobile: with a convenient pick up location for our customers and potentially some pop-up events in the near future.
When this crazy idea came to me in the summer of 2018, it was nothing more than a way to earn extra income while being a present parent and allowing more time with my children and to provide something fun and much needed in our little town of Lockney.
It has been a crazy and fulfilling 5 years. You have watched Oh, Charlie start up, adapt to all the speed bumps that have tried to slow us down being in a small town and navigate through COVID being a small business.
We have been blessed to have the most loyal and supportive customer base. We appreciate all the ways you have supported us during our time open!
Letting go is hard, Oh, Charlie was another baby of mine! Lots of laughs, conversations(therapy sessions) and tears were poured into this store. Remembering all the fun times and customers, contributions to fundraisers in the community and school, market trips and anticipating new items coming in - it’s bittersweet.
I could go on many more paragraphs expressing all the feelings and emotions that are being felt right now but I won’t. So with all this being said, THANK YOU to all who supported Oh, Charlie. I hope to still have your continued support in Oh, Charlie’s future endeavors.
From now until Friday all remaining inventory is marked down drastically, all gift cards will not be valid after 9/15/23 and all displays and fixtures are for sale. Come by and let’s mingle one last time🩷
