Update: 12-year-old Chloe Kye Harris has been found safe.

A girl from Cerritos has been reported missing as family and investigators call for urgent community support to help bring her home safely.

Chloe Kye Harris was last seen in Cerritos on April 9, 2026 at 3:08 p.m. She was in the 11000 block of Gonsalves Street. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Cerritos Station is now leading efforts to locate her. Community members are being asked to stay watchful and share any helpful information.

She is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a mole on her arm. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a black backpack, and a gold cross necklace.

Her family is deeply concerned for her well being and is asking the public for support. Investigators are encouraging anyone with information to come forward. Even small details could help bring answers and guide efforts to locate her in Cerritos and nearby areas. On Feb. 19, 2026 at-risk missing person Kaiya Pouvi was located safe and unharmed in the City of Paramount.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 9-year-old at-risk missing person Kaiya Pouvi. Pouvi was last seen when she left class at the end of school (Bret Harte Elementary). When family checked for her at the parent pick up she was no where to be found. She did pass a student a note earlier in the day stating she was going to run away. Staff confirmed she was there and left on foot from their location and out of sight. Pouvi is on foot, does not have a cell phone nor any other tracking device on her person and unknown amount of money.
