I always wanted a pair of biker shorts because everyone else wore them and chicks liked guys in biker shirts! Then came the 90's, when Cross Colours dropped, HBCU sweatshirts, Jordans, and designer jeans. I couldn't afford it, my moms couldn't purchase what all my friends were rocking at school and on the streets. Being the oldest of 5 children we weren't “poor” but moms had other things to purcha
se, like food! People have called me odd, weird, and strange since I can remember. I say, "thank you", I couldn't be anyone but me. Fast forward to the present, my sense of fashion is not that of what others would think to be fashionably exceptional. I believe "in making a statement all you need is a good tee shirt." My mama has always said to us and lived by the creed, "you have to do it yourself, you can’t trust anyone to help you. You have to DO IT YOURSELF!" That confirmation since I was a teen as lead my life without a doubt. Through barber college, record production, starting my first business, to designing my first tee shirt for the love my great city of Long Beach. I'm not afraid of obstacles, I have faith in my visions. I see what others choose not. It’s been this way since I was a boy growing up in Asheville, North Carolina. I thought big even when I was little. Like making a log cabin out of falling trees at the age of 8. I never wanted to be the norm. I am "Originally Odd. f28 Clothing is earthed from the street number of the house we grow up in when we moved to Long Beach, CA in 1989. That block, that neighborhood, on the Eastside taught me survival, respect, love, and dedication. Subjected to seeing violence and drugs on the norm I focused on music and fashion as a teen in the garage day in and day out.

Life is what you make it...If you believe in you, you have a vision, you love giving, then you’ve met part of what you're destined to do. I only want to say and do things with this clothing line, to make ripples and have people feel original; one design at a time. Support f28 Clothing est. 2015
