This week’s sale is shoes! Thursday & Friday 1/2 price, Saturday $1. I was supposed to make this post yesterday, but I was incredibly busy eating various ice creams, so as penance we will include the high end shoes in the half price sale (1/2 on Saturday too).

Half price Thursday and Friday, Saturday $1. Also, “skirt” is a world that loses all meaning the more you type it. It looks like a three year old made it up.

I made the sun enormous because it is six hundred degrees. I suggest you buy a whole mountain of bathing suits, and when you sweat through one, just grab the next one off your swimsuit pile. Wednesday half price, Thursday and Friday $1. Includes cover-ups, men’s, women’s, and kid’s suits. We are closed on the 4th of July. That means you are going to have to wear last year’s bathing suit to your pool party if you don’t make it here by Friday. Embarrassing!

I went to prom 100 years ago in the era of big permed bangs, but the selection of gowns we have at Racks is getting me so nostalgic! We have LOTS in all sizes and they are only $35! It’s worth a look before you spend one million dollars at the mall. One of the events we have talked about for years but never gotten off the ground is a Mom Prom. I think it would be so fun! And, what a coincidence, I know somewhere I could get a dress for just $35…

Soon it will be the time of year when my pale legs emerge from the safety and protection of long pants. They will look out of place and ridiculous. I imagine them blinking slowly and with confusion while staring up at a sun they haven’t seen since last year, then they hiss at me and try to scramble back to the shadows where they feel more comfortable. Point is, shorts will be out next week. To make room, jeans will be 50% off Wednesday and Thursday, and $1 Friday and Saturday. All jeans are included in the 50% sale, even high end! We will be filling in with new stock as things sell, so definitely check back. You might want to wear sunglasses so my winter legs don’t accidentally cause corneal damage.
