The best party of the fall is on. This year we're running the old course again: Head west from Shoes & Brews past Left Hand with a loop around Roger's Grove. Finish back at Shoes & Brews.

We are partnering with our friends at Left Hand Brewing to bring you a community celebration of running, music, and beer. A portion of the race proceeds help support the Left Hand Brewing Foundation (https://lefthandbrewing.com/community/left-hand-brewing-foundation) .

The race hats are mesh sided running hats. They are similar to last year's sole mates water color hats in fit and feel, but with a completely new design.

Lots going on at Shoes & Brews over the next couple weeks — here's what's on tap.

RUN CLUB WITH HOKA — Thursday, Aug 13, 6 PM
Join us tomorrow night! Hoka is providing demo shoes to try on the run — the Clifton 11 and the Mach 7. Give them a try!

RUN CLUB WITH SAUCONY & NATHAN — Thursday, Aug 20, 6 PM
Saucony will have demos of the Endorphin Azura, the Triumph 24, and the Guide 19. Nathan will also be on hand with hydration vests and handheld bottles to try out on the run.

OPEN MIC — Wednesday, Aug 19, 6 PM
Open Mic is now the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Bring your talent or just come enjoy the show.

TRIVIA — Friday, Aug 21, 6:30 PM
Trivia is back and it's free to play — but please register on our website to reserve your spot!

Shoes & Brews Is Turning 12!

Alright folks, we're getting close to the 12th Anniversary festivities! Here's the lineup the next few days.

Tonight Thursday, July 23rd:
Run Club at 6 pm.
It's finally cooling off!
Food by Sam and Sam Authentic Eats.

Friday, July 24th:
Trivia at 6:30 pm!
If you've never been to a Shoes & Brews trivia night, you don't know what you're missing. It is not your average pub trivia...

We have prizes for the crowd favorite air band!

Grand Prize for Beer Olympics Doubles Category is the coveted Shoes & Brews Flamingo trophy.

Beer Olympics - The Details

Complete our obstacle course in the least amount of time.
Only cost is the beer you must drink as part of the course.

Singles or Doubles competition

1 pm - 3:30 pm
Open competition to set your time.
Lowest times advance to the next round in a single elimination tournament.

4 pm (ish)
Single elimination tournament to crown the champs!

The competition begins when you crack a beer. You must complete the beer before you end the competition, drinking it now or along the way.

Stage 1: Wheel yourself on a stool to a bench and put a shoe on your partner/friend and tie it

Stage 2: Make one flip cup

Stage 3: Make three shots on the beer pong table

Stage 4: Score 3 points in corn hole

Stage 5: Jump rope consecutively 25 times.

Stage 6: Make a Free throw and a lay up

Stage 7: Take a selfie under the misters and post it to social media

Finish your beer if you haven't already and the time stops.

Doubles will alternate events and complete stage 7 together

You can complete the course as many times as you like (but must pay for your beer)
