I would absolutely demolish my skin every time we left the house just for some Bath & Body Works glitter lotion — that stuff hurt so bad 🤣
The first things I ever remember buying with my OWN money that I earned were a Kenny Chesney “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems” CD and a Sara Evans “Born to Fly” CD at the Clarksville Walmart. If that helps some of y’all… 🥴
My sister & I LOVED Grandy’s restaurant & would walk around with a fake cane saying, “I’m an old Grandy!” 😂
The first “favorite song” I can remember having was Guns N’ Roses — “Knock, knock, knocking on KEVIN’S door.” 🤣💀
I LOVED Ashlee Simpson & Avril Lavigne as a preteen/teen.
Some of my favorite childhood shows were Rollie Pollie Ollie, Rugrats & Franklin.
Then as I got a little older, Lizzie McGuire, That’s So Raven, The Wild Thornberry’s & Hannah Montana were STAPLES
So. Many. Beanie. Babies.
I probably could’ve made a living off everything I baked in my Easy-Bake Oven.
Days before we went anywhere other than town, Mom & Dad would literally lay a MAP on the living room floor to figure out the best route. 😂
I can remember sitting by the stereo for HOURS waiting for my favorite song to come on so I could record it on my blank tapes
& the amount of times I got grounded over LIMEWIRE… I KNEW I could potentially destroy the entire computer, but NOTHING was going to stop me from downloading my favorite song. An absolute menace, right??🤣 we’d have to listen to the song all the way through after downloading it to make sure it wasn’t that DANG BILL CLINTON RECORDING!!!!💀
