August... The corn is high and sweet. A juicy peach to enjoy while watching the Perseids dart across the sky. Shorter days and longer nights as the beach days slowly begin drawing to a close. Fear not, the warmth of the sun will be with us until the pumpkins are carved. This leaves plenty of time to wear your fine linens and cottons.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out for our impromptu neon lighting last night! The beautiful retro glow on West Fifth can be seen from Broadway to Washington and we are so excited to be lighting a little part of this vibrant, expanding, authentic, and welcoming downtown and city. Everyone is invited to join us tonight (Saturday 7/25) at 10 pm as we light up West Fifth! Our ribbon cutting was great last November, but this is the big Lorain launch we've been waiting and waiting for--bringing the Haberdasher's longtime dream of a neon sign and his name in lights (🙄) to life above this beautiful store where we finally feel like we've come home and landed where we were meant to be. We will pop some bubbly, flip the switch and get lit under the stunning sign built by Lorain's own super talented Doug Navalinsky at NavCour Glassware. What a gem we have here down the road. Did you know that we are now making our own Baltic amber + sterling silver jewelry for women AND men? Bracelets, necklaces and earrings designed and crafted in house because we just couldn't find any amber jewelry that we liked and represented The Haberdasher's Latvian heritage and love for Baltic amber. We're adding new pieces all the time, as amber arrives from the Baltics and we're so happy to see how much everyone is enjoying it!
