Some of you may remember us posting about our pal, Alan and his Lamborghini a few years back. Some of you may even recognize Alan from the neighborhood. He’s a pretty unmistakeable character that drives around in his green Mini Cooper S with orange wheels. Well, Alan is at a point in his life where he is no longer able (or allowed) to drive. His son who lives overseas, has shipped the Lamborghini back to the UK, however, the Mini Cooper is looking for a new home. This post is not for anyone to pass judgement on the condition of this car. These photos were taken to accurately depict its condition and tell the story of a brilliant aging engineer mind. The car starts, runs, and drives with 120k on the motor and chassis. I think this car is suitable for someone that is looking to do a gutted track style build and would want to replace fenders and body panels with carbon/fiberglass panels anyway. If you are interested in being its next caretaker and would enjoy sorting through mechanical treasures of a quirky engineer, this vehicle might be for you. Keep in mind, Alan is a fellow gear-head just like all of us, and this is a vehicle he cherishes dearly. First $1200 takes it. DM is best to get in contact with the family. ✌️❤️🏎️
