You saw CAKES Lift for the first time yesterday 👀 today we're taking you behind the scenes of how it actually got built.

This one started in the comments: "Would this be supportive or just a cover?" "What about a lift for larger cups?" "Would this even work after losing weight?" We read every single one and realized nobody made a lift option that still felt like CAKES. So Yehchee (our product developer) got to work: cutting shapes, testing silicone, fitting prototypes on the mannequin and on herself, trying to get real lift without losing the natural, seamless feel. 🫠 Some tries worked. A lot didn't.

Okay so remember when we said Ep. 3 is where we show you what we built? 👀 Here it is.

The hardest part of designing Sticky CAKES wasn't the shape, or even the adhesive - it was the center. We needed an adhesive-free zone so the cover doesn't grip skin where it shouldn't, but get the size wrong and the whole thing stops feeling secure. So as the CAKES cover gits larger, we adjusted the adhesive-free center right along with it - because comfort at a smaller size doesn't automatically hold up at a bigger one. 🫠

That's the piece nobody talks about, and the piece we spent the most time getting right.

Okay so remember when we said "how hard could this be?" 😅 Yehchee's back to show you exactly why.

Most sticky nip covers are built the same way — same shape, same stiff adhesive, same "rip your skin off" removal. We wanted to know why nobody had changed it.

So we pulled apart traditional covers piece by piece to see what was actually working (and what wasn't). Turns out: not much. 🫠

That's the baseline we designed Sticky CAKES against — seamless, flexible, and made to actually come off gently.
