🌟 “When the river speaks: Don't expect everyone to love you. Most people don't even love themselves.” Sometimes we demand understanding, care, and tenderness from hearts still at war with themselves. We expect love from those who don't know how to give it because they never learned to treat themselves with respect, patience, and truth. It's not that you aren't worth enough. It's that some people live empty, defending themselves against the world, closed off by fear, repeating wounds that never healed. And from that place, loving becomes difficult. When you understand this, you stop taking other people's feelings personally. You understand that the coldness of others doesn't define your warmth, that their distance doesn't invalidate your devotion. Everyone gives what they have and offers from where they can. Don't expect everyone's approval. Not everyone is ready to see you shine, to receive sincere love, to maintain healthy relationships. And that's okay. It's not your mission to save anyone or carry battles that aren't yours. Learn to love yourself. To take care of yourself when others don't know how. To choose relationships where love doesn't hurt or have to beg for. Because when you truly love yourself, it stops hurting that not everyone loves you. 🌟🪞💛🌻🌝🌻
