IT'S OK TO BE NOT OK .
With everything going on in the world , kids are homeschooling , or going to school for a few hours or spending more time indoors , places are opening up in LA and the world is trying to go back to some form of "Normality'.
Kids, kids , kids I know they don't understand why they had to be indoors for so long or why they can't see most of their friends(in person) any more or how long they will have to wear a mask for so long or even understand why mom yells differently(maybe more).
Moms! this has also been very challenging and most of us are screaming for a vacation from everything including the kids ( no worries I need 1 too)
For me as a Stay At Home Mom (SAHM) and wife, I do a lot of routines, it helps me stay organized which is my main priority to staying organized , calm and focused.
But in this "Organized staying calm and focused routine" I know its ok to pause , breathe and a take moment and enjoy the noise from my kids , the littering of toys and the no nap days.
I pause and know its ok to enjoy ordered dinner from our favorite restaurant or road side Tacos truck.
So today I let my routine life go and just decided to enjoy the day with my kids. We went grocery shopping, had fast food (not a healthy option but enjoyed) and drove around town.
Here is a picture of my toddler taking a break from a fun filled day.
So to all my SAHM out there , its ok to be not ok.
To all the SAHM , you all are super Moms!!!!
