ichi ni is a unisex clothing line for kids ages 4-10. The brand is inspired by a playful mix between my Japanese heritage and my Californian lifestyle.

We are a collection of thoughtfully designed simple and soft basics that focus on high quality fabrics, special washes, cool prints and details that are anything but simple. ichi ni was born from the idea to create simple, soft and timeless basics for children that are anything but boring. We are a gender neutral (where possible) collection for kids ages 4 -10, but made to fit slightly oversized f

or a relaxed edgy look. Casual meets cool – we are a unique blend between the city streets of Tokyo, the laid back vibes of Venice beach and vintage athleisure wear. At ichi ni we believe in the creation of quality over quantity. We take the utmost care in the construction and craftsmanship of our clothes. From fabric to fit to stitch we love all the little details. Which is why our garments undergo special washes and dye processes to give them a lived-in vintage feel and the softest hand. Each piece is hand sewn, hand dyed and hand silk screened to ensure quality, craftsmanship and uniqueness – just like the kiddos who wear them. Our clothes are handmade in two small family-owned manufacturing facilities. One in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles and the other in Hong Kong. At ichi ni we strive to be sustainably minded as much as we can. It’s super important to us that we work with people and places that value and respect their people, their production practices and the environment just as much as we do. Our tissue paper is recyclable and our garment bags and mailers are 100% compostable. The fashion industry is hard on our planet and we will always work toward finding ways to be kind to our earth. Never boring just effortlessly ‘cool’ — we want to be the stuff your kids can live in everywhere, everyday and for a long time to come.
