Hi And Lovers 🫶🏽

It’s been awhile, so let’s chat. I’m writing this with bittersweet tears in my eyes, but there are going to be some pretty major changes happening at And Love. To be honest, I don’t know where to start, so I’ll just start. And Love is closing in its current capacity.

Over four years ago, I started this company from my heart. You championed me and poured your support into this business. You are the reason for the success that I’ve had and I will never be able to thank you for that. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly and truly still don’t feel 100% peace about. But closing this chapter of And Love is not a failure. I’m excited to be transitioning and spending more time doing work that I love!

The transition of something is not equivalent to failure.

And Love started with a Facebook post and Google Form in my Michigan home. Together we grew to a website, in person shows, and features in publications. Halfway through the journey, And Love moved to Los Angeles. The &❤️ impact was able to spread across the country. That impact and growth was meaningful, but it’s time to grow again.

The truth is that I’m stepping into a new (exciting) chapter and don’t have the time or energy to maintain And Love in its current form. This is what that means:

• There will be a huge closeout sale to release current inventory
• The website will be closed after the closing sale
• Custom orders will still be taken on a case by case basis
• Special pre-order drops may happen once or twice per year

I know this is big news and over the next few weeks or so we’ll process it step by step. Just know that I am so very grateful for the last few years. The And Love Company gave me confidence, community, and inspiration in new ways. It gave me connection, opportunity, and renewed purpose.
But most importantly.. And Love gave me faith, hope, AND LOVE.

I’m answering a few anticipated questions below, but please comment or message me if you have other questions!

Some Q&A
• Is The And Love Company closing?
Yes. After the closeout sale, the website will be unavailable. My hope is to have special/limited pre-order drops a couple times per year, but the current inventory and website will be closed.

• When is the closeout sale?
The sale starts January 17th and will run for a few weeks or until inventory is gone!

• When will the future drops be?
These aren’t currently planned or scheduled. If you’re reading this & you’re connected with me on social media, you’ll get info when they are scheduled!

• How are you feeling about the transition?
While I’ll forever cherish this chapter of And Love, I’m truly excited about the freedom that this change will bring for me! It’s of course bittersweet - I’ll miss creating clothing and connecting through words in this way. But I have new adventures starting this year that feel best and right for me in this season.

• What is next for you?
I’m still working my day job and launching a new company! My passion has always been in advocating for children. My hope is that The And Love Company will eventually be partnered with this new company to raise awareness for the causes I'm passionate about.

An Update 🫶🏽

It’s been about 6 or so months since my last post. I launched a new collection for And Love Day on February 14 and then kind of disappeared. So here’s the truth:

The launch didn’t do great and I took it personally. I lost motivation to keep posting or making anything because it felt like wasted time. On top of that, I was getting busier with work, so naturally And Love took a backseat. I told myself I’d come back when I had more time, but then fell into another thought spiral of if it was even worth it…

So because of all of that, a couple weekends ago, I almost temporarily closed my website. I didn’t really have a plan, I had drafted an email and post to let everyone know why and what to expect.. But while I was typing out the email, I got an order (thanks Wendy ☺️)

Now one order doesn’t change the state of my business completely, but it did change something. I was shaken out of my shame, doubt, and sadness and reminded why And Love was created to begin with.

* It was created to create products with love, that feel like love, and that give love.
* It was created to uplift and inspire.
* It was created to give you tangible reminders that there is always access to peace, joy, hope, faith, and love.

It’s easy to feel discouraged and lost when you forget your why and your purpose. But And Love was created for just that: to remind you that with faith, hope, AND LOVE, there is always light. In the darkest of moments, you can still find hope, love, peace, joy, and love.

So if you need the reminder that you were created for something other than shame, doubt, fear, sadness, anxiety, or any other negative hold that tries to bring you down, this collection is for you.
