why judge people for doing things a certain way - probably most of whom you don’t even really know (or know at all). they have their reasons. and you have your reasons for doing what you do. you judge people because you expect things to go a certain way and ways in which are familiar with what you’re accustomed to - and therein lies the problem. it comes down to two things: freedom of choice, and most notably, respect. respect to fully accept everyone as they are without judgment snd criticism🖤

It’s not a reflection of you, but more a reflection of the other person and their internal struggles. Have empathy for them🖤

It’s hard not to take things personally, especially when they’re targeted uniquely to you, but have you ever thought that when people say or do unfavorable things it’s more often than not the result of that person’s internal insecurities, fears and struggles? The majority of things can be acknowledged then quickly relegated to a non-issue, whereby it shouldn’t affect you in any way because if you do then you’re letting the other person have control of you in more ways than one. As aforementioned, it’s likely that person is hurting inside, lashing out because of other reasons, and that’s when we should be the bigger person and try to understand and talk to the person as to why they’re saying or doing these cruel things. Love wins - always.

seriously tho, things that us humans stress our attention towards most of the time don’t matter, and are fleeting if you allow them to be. whether it be someone’s words, daily traffic, an item you lost or that was stolen - it is all temporary and are reflections of other people projecting themselves on the world. don’t take things personally. stressing on everyday trivial matters only affects yourself in the long run, so don’t let other people influence your life.
