I spent many days and many hours (135 to be exact), studying, work shopping, stitching and dyeing these samples. This was apart of my internship with where I studied natural indigo dyeing, different resist techniques, such as shibori, and directed myself to a full showcase of my trials after I graduated in August. Spending so much time doing tedious work truly taught me about patience and order. I could only take one step at a time, and any sort of rushing on my end caused issues by the end. No part of this was more important than the other, and being so intentional with my work, being able to spend time learning, really changed how I view the world, how I view my work, and how I view myself as an artist. This is the very beginning of my work with textile design and something I hope to continue in the future. // for what started as a passion, now has some “proper” education behind it hehe, a BACHELORS IN EDUCATION AND HUMAN SCIENCES IN TEXTILES, FASHION DESIGN AND MERCHANDISING 🤭✨🪷 (go look at my latest reel if you wanna see the processssss 💃🏼) luv u guys , I’ll be making some art real soon
