Dear clients and friends,
I never thought I’d have to reach out to you under these circumstances. As of this week, the Covid-19 virus has reached pandemic status. Everyday seems to bring news of uncertainty, but please know your friends and stylists at Clark Nova are calm and hopeful.
I’d like to personally let you know we care deeply for our clients. These days our salon has been extra vigilant in how we’re taking care of you during each service, sanitizing our stations and high traffic surfaces after each visit, and washing our hands a lot more often regardless if we’re wearing gloves.
We recommend any client who feels the slightest bit of illness to stay home without worry of a cancellation fee, and we encourage those who feel healthy to keep your appointments as we plan to keep taking clients as long as we’re able to do so.
Hairdressing is an intimate service, not just because we are in close proximity while we take care of you, but because of the unique trust that is created while you’re in our chair. You’ve shared with us personal stories of your travels, families, careers, and milestones. We’ve know many of you for decades, and as our country prepares for more social distancing and encouraging people to stay home, the thought of not being able to serve you weighs heavy on us.
The next few weeks and months will be an interesting one, stressful for many as none of us know the outcome of this pandemic. Remember that we’re all facing this uncertain time together. Be kind to yourself and respect the ones around you who are trying to care for themselves the best they know how.
We encourage you stay in close watch with CDC.gov and WHO.int for all official updates, as it is the spread of misinformation that breeds unnecessary panic. And of course, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate reach out to us.
