My passion in life is to create and design anything wearable. I love expressing my God giving creativity thru my custom costume design work. My ultimate goal for my career is to have an impact on the costume design world such as Edith Head and Eiko Ishioka.

Darth Tu LaCha version 2.

In my 25 years of designing professionally, this is by far the best custom costume design I've ever done.

The red corset fabric was purchased in Seoul, South Korea, last summer.

The 2 front draped scarves fabric was purchased 10 years ago to be used for a future Sith costume.

The black yukata was in my hotel room. I did some temp alts on the sleeve to help complete the look.

I will most definitely be entering something in the costume contest at the 2028 Star Wars Celebration Los Angeles!

My first experience was kimono making in Koto City, but it wasn't like making from scratch. I got to choose a vintage kimono to alter. I shared with the instructors what I did for a living, and they had lots of questions.

I also showed them the kimono I made for Princess Leia, and they said it was beautiful.
It was fun to learn all of the different pieces that go into traditional kimono wearing. When wearing a kimono, the obi is supposed to be a contrast to it. You most definitely could not get dressed by yourself.

These are just the pictures we took at the studio. Would like to get some better ones outside with sakura.
