As a teenager, Eric notice how much people were really into trendy name brand clothing. Thatz Tyte™ was started as friendly competition in style and urban fashion outfitting among the ‘hipper fellers’ on the block that Eric grew up on. They competed against each other to see who was dressed the tightest for that day. Early on in his life, Eric Johnson was always self-motivated and exhibited a host of creative and artistic traits. He spent countless hours in the local libraries checking out “step-by-step” and “how to” books on Art and Designing. He started with designing different T-shirts. Soon everyone in his neighborhood would also want a similar T-shirt, and asked him to make some for them. So Eric decided he would design his own clothing line and call it Thatz Tyte™, since that’s what his friends were all saying about his designs. The success and popularity of Thatz Tyte Designs™ was quickly apparent. A lifestyle brand was born from a vision and the decision was made to launch the complete Thatz Tyte Design Collection™. Eric Johnson brings a wealth of topical experience to assist in Thatz Tyte Designs™’ overall success. With over twenty years in retail sales, marketing, and a flair for fashion design and awareness of the latest trends in fashion, Eric strives to position Thatz Tyte Designs™ as a major fashion brand in the Hip-Hop and Urban Culture Communities.
