It’s my birthday, and I couldn’t let this day pass without saying thank you.

Your support of Something by Sonjia and of me personally means more than you know. This year has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life, but your continued love and loyalty have been a constant source of strength.

Because of you, I’m still here, still creating, and still pouring my heart into every piece.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve experienced one of the greatest losses of my life. My beautiful sister, Vanessa, passed away.

This has been a deeply painful season for me and my family. If you’ve noticed my absence, please know it has been for this reason. Grieving someone who was woven into your everyday life shifts everything.

Vanessa was one of Something by Sonjia’s biggest supporters. She believed in me fiercely. She celebrated every collection, every milestone, every small win. She would check in, give her opinion, hype me up, and remind me to keep going when things felt heavy. She was proud of this brand in a way that only a sister can be.

To those of you who knew and reached out, thank you for your prayers, your messages, your kindness. Your words have meant more than I can express.

Vanessa loved to see me create. And I know, without question, she would want me to continue building, designing, and pouring my heart into this work. So I will. In honor of her. With her spirit in everything I do.

Thank you for your patience, your grace, and your continued support during this time.
