🍋🌺RISER SHANDY 🌺🍋

Our take on this super simple beer cocktail, sure to brighten a gloomy day here in SoCal. It’s soooo good. Maybe too good 😉

1 oz Raw Honey Ginger Simple Syrup
2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
8 oz Riser
Lemon Peel
Combine all of the ingredients over ice, stir, and garnish with lemon peel.

For the simple syrup -
In a saucepan combine 1 cup water, 3/4 cup local raw honey, 3 oz fresh ginger (peeled and chopped). Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 30 min. Allow to cool completely, then strain and store in an air tight container in the fridge.

This beauty is Damiana. Damiana, or Turnera Diffusa, is a desert herb that originates from South and Central America. It is treasured as an aphrodisiac in many ancient traditions - it was reported that Mayans made a drink with damiana tea and sugar to enhance lo******ng. ⁠⠀
This plant has an amazing aroma which it lends to the nose of our herbal ale Comber.⁠⠀

Damiana is beautiful medicine for what we're currently going through - she is powerfully anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and super loving. ⁠⠀
