Story time.
Plandemic hits and we’re all locked up in our own homes. Privacy is very important to me so I decide to use the downtime to make a privacy phone case designed to cover up phone cameras aka peeping pervs. I research the market. There’s nothing. So we design & 3D prototype. I contact a couple of factories here in America as well as Korea who can bring these cases to life. All looked good and ready to go. I retain a parent attorney.
A week later the attorney sends me files after files. Mechanisms to cover the cameras on your phone have been designed in 30 different ways and have already been patented since 2011 with many “inventors” located in Norcal (Silicon Valley) or Virginia (CIA?).
Lawyer offers 2 options: 1. Stop and give up or 2. Reach out to patent holders and work out a deal. I chose 2. But these patent owners cannot be reached. Huh?
Who would apply for patents for tools that’ll give you some much needed privacy but NEVER follow through and roll out the products? Especially when there’s never been anything like it in the market? And why hide and be unreachable?
Am I being too conspiratorial about this? Well, why aren’t you? Who has laid the groundwork to make sure you’ll never have anything to shut these perverts out of your bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, livingroom, office..? Who? And why?
Should I say F**k’em and go into production anyway and see if they’ll reveal their face by suing me? Why do so many just accept what’s given to them without ever asking questions?

***FREE GIVEAWAY ALERT***

Guys. One of our acquaintances from Taiwan has brought a container load of these masks last week and offered them to us to buy. We initially purchased 200 and donated 150 of them to our local hospital. We kept 50 to share with our family, employees and friends. Luckily I have no friends so I still have 30 or so left.

*IMPORTANT* I don't want to sell these. I don't want to use them as a bait to generate sales.

I WANT TO MAKE SURE THESE GO TO SENIORS IN ISOLATION.

HELP ME FIND THEM. Unfortunately my mom has no friends either so I don't know where to look.

If you can point me in the right direction, I will not only make sure these masks end up in the hands of our vulnerable elderly, but I will send you a free T-shirt as a way of saying Thanks. Please please please don't be an ass and offer fake leads. This is not the time.

I'm already looking into securing more masks to donate and give away. Until then, stay safe.

He was really cool. But then I learned that Fonzie was struggling to survive on the streets while raising a beautiful 2-year-old stepdaughter named Helena. I would go on to ask Fonzie to be 's model. He is 6'1, lean and muscular and weighs 150lbs. And I liked his hair. He agreed.

I got to know Fonzie and his family well after a couple of photo sessions. Seeing their struggles up close still haunts me. Watch Fonzie tell his story and you'll see why.

In the end, his modeling was just a byproduct of our larger collaboration. We are dedicating a capsule collection to him and his family. Hopefully there are many many better days, months and years ahead of them, especially the barely-over-2-feet-tall blondie. She didn't ask to be here.
