With every person I meet I imagine what they might look like in the faerie realm. As I begin to know them better their fay features become more evident to me. This is the way I design fantasy costumes, enhancing or contorting their attributes. Lifting the veil to reveal their own otherworldly beauty and enchantment they possess. There is a place somewhere between waking and sleeping where faeries

play. In this twilight hour we can pass through to their world and in that short time we might be able to enjoy their glamor and learn the secrets of their society. I hope you enjoy the journey through these costumes I create, the lore I weave, and the images the photographers have captured. Every stitch that has been sewn, every bead that shimmers helps tell the faerie's story. During the growth of Firefly Path my life has been a faerie tale. I've traveled the world with my wonderful friends to capture these mystical creatures on film. Seeking them out in castle ruins, perched in desert canyons, finding them in lush rain forests, hidden inside an ancient bathhouse, gracing palace courtyards and through it all I've learnt that dreams really do come true and I am so very happy to be sharing mine with you.

Midnight Tearweb Gown 💧🕸️
Our client Shannon commissioned us for a version of our Tearweb Gown but in a color palette of navy & silver. We used an ombre mesh to create an effect of mist around the hem of her gown.
Each tendril of her crystal web is made up from a series of seed beads and crystal bubbles with droplets 💧

I had to share these screenshots because every frame feels like a fairy tale.

Luna looks absolutely enchanting in our Faerie Queen Gown.

Of course, the Faerie Queen look is paired with the beautiful HelloFaerie wings.

She’s also wearing our dreamy Dawnlit Meadow Gown.

The styling perfectly captures Luna’s ethereal world.

A liminal time between seasons.
It comes just before summer's heat settles in. When those fresh spring colors have deepened. Every spring blossom reaches its final form. The veiled green mist of spring burns away to the summer heat.
The set was decorated with real
Canterbury bells. These flowers typically bloom from late spring to mid-summer.
We photographed Fritzie in our saturated plum-dyed chemise. Canterbury bells were the perfect flower to symbolize the spring into summer transaction. The flower symbolize the spring into summer transaction. I hope you enjoyed our liminal embodiment of this time

But it does look unreal! The mix of green tulle, hand dyed plum silk chiffon, silk & organza millinery flowers make for such a delicious banquet of textures. You see that web-like texture on the top of the sleeve? It’s a bridal veil netting over 70 years old!
