With every person I meet I imagine what they might look like in the faerie realm. As I begin to know them better their fay features become more evident to me. This is the way I design fantasy costumes, enhancing or contorting their attributes. Lifting the veil to reveal their own otherworldly beauty and enchantment they possess. There is a place somewhere between waking and sleeping where faeries play. In this twilight hour we can pass through to their world and in that short time we might be able to enjoy their glamor and learn the secrets of their society. I hope you enjoy the journey through these costumes I create, the lore I weave, and the images the photographers have captured. Every stitch that has been sewn, every bead that shimmers helps tell the faerie's story. During the growth of Firefly Path my life has been a faerie tale. I've traveled the world with my wonderful friends to capture these mystical creatures on film. Seeking them out in castle ruins, perched in desert canyons, finding them in lush rain forests, hidden inside an ancient bathhouse, gracing palace courtyards and through it all I've learnt that dreams really do come true and I am so very happy to be sharing mine with you.

Evermourne Gown by Firefly Path
Evermore, be the beautiful ghost who haunts their dreams.

This gown is designed to enchant all who catch a glimpse of her, as though witnessing a beautiful apparition slowly materializing from the mist.

Nearly every element is sheer and ethereal. A transparent corset creates the illusion of a delicate structure suspended against the body, while layers of ghostly tulle and organza drift into a long, sweeping train. Wisps of lace appear sporadically throughout the gown, as though only fragments of her former visage have manifested into view.

Sheer, trailing sleeves frame the arms in delicate lace and tulle, floating behind the wearer with every movement like the remnants of a forgotten bridal veil.

Romantic, spectral, and hauntingly beautiful.

From a little idea inspired by the beauty of spiderwebs glistening with morning dew to something I can finally hold in my hands!

I wanted to create a veil that looked as though you’ve fallen back into a delicate crystal cobweb, leaving its shimmering strands caught beautifully in your hair.

After months of designing, experimenting, and bringing this vision to life, our hand-beaded Spiderweb Veils have finally arrived!

It’s been a while since we teamed up for a location shoot, so in celebration of spooky season, we dreamed up the story of a ghost bride haunting the garden grounds where she was once wed.

I wanted her gown to feel almost spectral, created from translucent, flowing fabrics that blur the line between the living world and the beyond.

There are old ghost stories where an apparition never appears entirely; only fragments of them come through clearly, while the rest seems to fade into the air. I wanted to translate that idea into the gown, as though parts of her dress had never fully materialized.

A translucent corset reveals the boning beneath, delicately adorned with Chantilly lace, while layers of tulle and featherweight organza trail behind her like an apparition drifting through the garden.

And woven into our Evermourne photoshoot is something new…
