KURO denim is a denim focused fashion brand founded in Tokyo, 2010. The brand centers on denim, offering a range of items including pants and jackets. The name “KURO” means “black” in Japanese, reflecting a core aesthetic rooted in the natural beauty of black hair, eyes, and Japanese cultural sensibilities. This brand’s collection of items, which blends Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary minimalist design, captivates with its beautiful silhouettes and meticulous attention to detail.
Exclusive items from KURO denim are currently available at Ron Herman Waikiki. For this T-shirt, we commissioned Yusuke Yatsuhashi—a surfer with a deep love for the ocean and the designer behind KURO denim—to create a special piece inspired by vintage Hawaiian T-shirts, featuring floral motifs and “WAIKIKI” letters. We also had him the same floral motifs studded onto the half-denim shorts, making them a unisex piece that pairs perfectly with swimwear for a fresh, casual look. 現在、ロンハーマン ワイキキ店では、KURO denimとのエクスクルーシブアイテムが発売中。Tシャツは、海をこよなく愛するサーファーであり、KURO denimのデザイナーである八橋佑輔氏に、ハワイアンヴィンテージTシャツを元に、お花モチーフとWAIKIKIの文字がデザインされた、特別な1枚を作成して頂きました。また、ハーフデニムパンツにも、同様のお花モチーフをスタッズして頂き、ユニセックスで水着とあわせてヘルシーに着用頂けます。ぜひ店頭でご覧ください。
