A wedding story, told stitch by stitch 🪡
For Harry & Dom, this piece began as a conversation — about memories, the love they have for each other, and how to hold it all in something you can wear on the special day. This was our first time bringing embroidery and embellishment into a custom piece, not as decoration, but as storytelling.
Harry designed the embroidery himself — a pond with 鸳鸯, symbols of love, loyalty, and lifelong partnership — layered with architectural elements that carry their own personal significance. From there, we worked closely to translate those ideas into texture, placement, and form, hand-placing each embellishment so the garment could hold their story in full.
We developed two silhouettes side by side — an oversized, Tang Suit inspired fit for Harry, and a tailored western suit inspired approach for Dom — balancing both of their visions while keeping them in dialogue with each other from the choice of fabric to the cohesive embroidery details.
And this is what our dream is with DAWANG Made to Order — not just creating something new for the special day, but shaping one-of-a-kind pieces that holds their story and remembers. ✨
