WE’RE CELEBRATING 11 YEARS OF CRITIC!

11 whole years. Tens of thousands of products sold. 40+ different countries. Seen in/mentioned in numerous magazines, newspapers, TV broadcasts, etc. Seen on my favorite professional athletes across the NFL & MLB. Collaborations with those very same athletes. Sponsoring non-profits, schools, all the way to being involved in starting a non-profit and supporting the big picture. The list goes on and it leaves me speechless.

It leaves me speechless because this list isn’t solely from anything I’ve done. It’s from everything YOU ALL have done. For the past 11 years, every single one of you have helped turn this 4th grade dream of mine into a reality. Whether it was purchasing a product, following the page, liking/commenting/sharing posts, or even just messaging us and saying how much you like the brand. It is because of YOU that we’re here.

Mini recap of ’s I AM GIFTED Football Camps this Summer. Starting in St. Paul - MN, then more recently in San Bernardino - CA, and next week ending in Boise - ID. This 3 day, FREE, camp provided grade school students the opportunity to learn all different football and life skills. Learning from professional athletes, mentors, administrative leaders, tradesmen, etc. these kids were given valuable information on education, financial literacy, NCAA regulations, and the I AM GIFTED mental awareness program.

Today marks 10 Years of . If you would’ve told me that I’d be where I am today, thanks to Critic, I probably would’ve laughed and said, “Yeah right. I wish.” I think that “wish” is what drove me to make that dream come true. Critic was the one thing that I truly believed in and it made me believe in myself. It’s the one thing that made me keep pushing past the negativity, the doubt, the jokes, and honestly all of the critics.

To go from selling shirts out of the trunk of my car, at the skatepark, to shipping shirts all across the world, has been one of the most surreal feelings. Shipping tons of orders to 40+ different countries, being seen on some of my favorite athletes across the NFL/MLB, front and center of a Rolling Stone article, multiple magazine/newspaper shoutouts, being the first student-owned apparel brand in my alma-maters store, collaboration with multiple professional athletes, sponsoring a ton of event/non-profits, the list goes on, it’s crazy to see this dream become a reality. It’s crazy to have so many people believe in you, especially those who see and trust your vision.

I wouldn’t be here without every single one of you. Every single one of you who have ever followed, liked, commented, reposted, ordered, took/posed in pictures, sent messages of support/criticism, given ideas, told a friend, etc. This is in big part because of YOU. I can only do so much, but to have people believe in this, people I don’t even know, people across the world, etc. it’s what motivated me every single day. All I ever wanted to do was make my parents proud, my brothers proud, my boys proud, and every single one of you proud, and I hope I have. I never take the time to reflect much on what Critic has done or how much it’s grown over the years and it often makes me think I haven’t done enough. But looking back on the past 10 years, I can say I’m proud.

The “Critic World Tour” is just warming up and I’m excited to see us all take this new heights this year and every year after. Thank you for making my 4th grade dream come true, I’m truly blessed and grateful for this opportunity to live my dream every single day.
