Introducing two new versions of pieces that have become Goodfight staples: the Big Haul Grocery Getter Shorts and Ian Shorts in Japanese cotton weathercloth. We have always wanted to create a “baggier” version of the Grocery Getter Shorts—while the mini & mid versions have been super fun, many of us are very nostalgic for a different era of drapey, super-comfortable athletic shorts and we’d always imagined fashioning a version that had that feeling but didn’t look like you were wearing someone else’s shorts that were five sizes too big for you. Not just a matter of lengthening the leg, we spent time to adjust the rise, bottom opening, etc. to completely re-work the pattern while preserving the elements of the short people have grown to love. The result was the “Big Haul” Grocery Getters, a baggier, relaxed, slightly below the knee version of everyone’s favorite shorts.

We are also excited to bring back the pleated elastic waist Ian Short in a Japanese cotton weathercloth - lightweight, breathable, and partially water resistant because of the density of the weave, the shorts are an ideal everyday bottom as the weather warms up. Its crisp, classic look is easy to dress up or down according to preference. Available now in black and olive green.

We are very excited to welcome back to for his latest Three Books Coffee program with a very special evolution. For those of you who have experienced a Three Books Coffee service before, you’ll know that you place your order not according to a drink menu, but by picking one of three books—the set you receive is an expression of the literature. The process is indeed unique & novel, but make no mistake, the coffee & drinks are exquisite. This Saturday, Will shifts his medium from books to ceramics in collaboration with artist Hana Ward and her brand uno+ichi where customers will pick between three specially crafted mug to guide their gustatory journey.

“i started three books to explore the connection between physical art and narrative. books explicitly contain narratives, but coffee and hospitality experiences do too. it’s just not as obvious.

ceramics are another narrative-containing medium i’ve always admired for the rich tactile stories they tell. for this pop-in, three mugs from uno+ichi will stand in for the books as my menu. hana at uno+ichi is such a thoughtful artist and i’m excited for you to sip on the narratives i see in her work :)” - Will

uno+ichi is a ceramic brand by artist Hana Ward that started behind her grandma’s house. With playful patterns, characters, and a handmade feel, uno+ichi aims to spread the joy of small delights.
uno+ichi is guided by that feeling of when you are delighted by something small and maybe unexpected. It’s those little things that can really brighten our day.
