The throw garter that compliments the heirloom garter and allows the beholden guest a token memory of the wedding. The name, Jillian Von Beyer, intertwines history with the modern age. After studying her family heritage, she realized that her original family name of 'Von Beyer' had been modified to 'Beyer' when her family immigrated through Ellis Island, NY. "Since each garter has a story, something of the past, it felt right to name the garter line Jillian Von Beyer. It reflects the spirit of the inspiration and of the design process." Jillian grew up in Kansas City, studied fashion at KSU and french at Université Paul Valéry Montpellier III in Southern France. Jillian will ever be influenced by her travels around Europe. She credits her time in France and her life in California for the inspiration to create the Jillian Von Beyer bridal line. Now, after four years of corporate design on the East Coast, she resides in Hermosa Beach, CA. "I love the inspirations of living by the beach, the flowers, the waves, and it's serenity - while also having access to LA and it's bubbling cultural scene." Jillian is owner of Blondemployment LLC, the creative brand housing the Jillian Von Beyer Heirloom Garters, and the upcoming Blondemployment swimwear line.
