"Really, there was nothing more dangerous than a woman who knew her own worth."- Olivie Blake
It's been rough and crazy this past few years. And I think I want to start reading again . I saw the other day a post or a reel about how reading shouldn't feel like a job but again something you. It's ok to take a step back once and a while... and that's what I did and I think I'm ready .

I want to take and also heheh same person for being there and just being an inspiration .
Side note---> I bought a plant the other day not the one in the picture .... but I was talking about it with Mary how it's POISONOUS!! Like 😳 why did I not know this haha gotta step up my plant game .
🌿 I'm gonna be releasing a one pattern booksleeves that relates to this quote . Nothing too big . I know I have been saying I'll release but haha it's been a challenge lately ... I apologize but I'll get there . I want to THANK YOU for staying and being here !

So I have been rethinking alot about stuff and also taking a step back on social media and being on the phone. Also this pregnancy definitely is different from my first 😒. Happy Friday !
And yes FINALLY POSTING.
sorry I have been MIA for the past couple of months. I had things to take care of and when. I thought I was done it was always one thing after the other. I wanted you to know I didn't forget anyone of you. For those who are very close to me they I think about PR and the supporters almost everyday !
And today was the day I felt comfortable and ready to get back. I wish I can share all the things that happened but there is no more point on dwelling in the past and just stay positive and move forward. Begin planning how to have a more positive life and how tackle things on better.
Also I have had trouble with shipping for the past couple of months also. So I was able to fix that and is going with a different method in terms of shipping .
I hope you are doing well and that you yourself is taking care of YOU. It's very important very very important. I know that sounds like a cliche but really not many do it. I know I didn't. It was hard for me to but I needed a little force.
📚 Pages keepers News!! Welll I wi be releasing a small fall collection !!! And it will be very limited and I won't be restocking the same prints so it will literally first come first serve 🙌.
Again thank you for all the love and support 😭🥰

WE RAISED $1763.86 !!!!!
Swipe for slides where you can see our raffle paypal donation and the donation from venmo as well. I feel these are necessary to include as folks trusted us with a lot of money.
Additionally the raffle winner is Trinity Miller - they will be emailed. (see stories)
I am SO pleased with my community here. When I organized this I had no idea the support it would get. THANK YOU to every business who participated in the raffle and every single person who donated.
As for myself, I owe it to my customers, friends, and patrons, to let you know how I'm moving forward with my activism and support of the black community after this week. I don't want to be congratulated or thanked. It is just what we should be doing as allies and I just feel as a public art business where people spend money, I have a duty to say where I stand and what I will do.
In my personal life, most of my friends know I have been active for many many years in supporting social justice in many ways, including racial justice. I will continue these actions which include things like attending community meetings, writing my legislators, protesting, donating, learning, reading, teaching my child how to be antiracist. I will be active in the school district as my child enters this year.
However, I realized I never really bring my beliefs here. I compartmentalized this page as just "my art" but it's MY ART and I have a right and a responsibility on this platform to say what I believe in and lift those causes. So I will continue to learn and do better with my online voice.
Going forward I will be using a questionnaire for all businesses I work with (even trades and gifting) to make sure their values align with mine. To make sure they are committed to change as well and to social and racial justice.
I will also ensure future reps share and uphold these values. Any individual person I commission, pay or gift art to that will be representing my artwork, my products etc, will be held to the same standard as companies.
If there is anything else you'd like to see from my business regarding these issues, please let me know.
Love, Alyssa ❤️

RAFFLE FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE!

I have partnered with 6 other shops, who are tagged in each slide, for a MEGA RAFFLE to raise money for charities, bail funds, and protest resources associated with Black Lives Matter. The donation will be to an ActBlue fund that will be spread by ActBlue across 70+ bail funds, racial justice charities and protestor resources all over the country.

SWIPE THRU: This is all ONE PRIZE PACKAGE– yes, you read that right. The total monetary value of this prize package is $384 - I am contributing 3 Page Keepers, please take a look at the carousel for the rest.

No crazy rules here, the goal is not to highlight any of us in any way. We came together to give away some of our products and art to be able to get our fabulous followers to help us raise money and give every cent to BLM focused charities. You do NOT need to be following us, or tag people or share or any of that nonsense to enter.
It's not about us or our shop.

HOW IT WORKS: is simple – one ticket is $5. You can purchase one (or more) by sending $5 increments to ‘s personal paypal email to avoid fees: [email protected] – PLEASE send it “friends and family” so that we can donate the entirety to the charities with no fees removed! The final donation amount WILL be posted, and we are REALLY hoping to reach $500!

You may purchase as many tickets as you like, and there is no cap on the amount of tickets to be sold. Each $5 increment is a separate entry.

This will END Sunday at noon PST. It will likely take a day to make sure all names have been entered. So a winner will be pulled, and the money donated MONDAY!

Thank you all so much for helping each of our businesses contribute to this fight! BLACK LIVES MATTER. Today and every day, to all of us. If you have any questions, please let one of us know!

Love from –

. Black stories matter. We stand against racism and violence. We stand with Black authors, illustrators, readers, colleagues, educators, librarians, creators—now, and always. •

Sharing this graphic and these thoughts is not where our work begins or ends. We have a lot of work to do. Part of that work is educating ourselves. We’ve compiled a list of books we recommend if you’re looking for resources, and a list of black-owned independent bookstores we encourage you purchase through. We know these lists are in no way exhaustive - this is just a start. We would love for you to add to our list of resources below, including black-owned bookstores, black booksellers, authors, bookstagrammers, illustrators, educators, and librarians, so we can follow and support them.
