Despite a massive and seemingly successful vaccination effort under way in Chile the country is experiencing a crushing second wave of Covid-19. The borders are closed and the city of Santiago is on a curfew, making getting to the tanneries and small factories where our shoes are made extremely difficult at best. We’ve had an order in for more boots since February of 2020. The good news today is that we have received a handful of new AG’s, which we will be releasing shortly. These are made with a rubber sole with a short stud pattern by a manufacturer in Argentina. If you haven’t played with vulcanized rubber sole plates we highly recommend it for firm ground and artificial surfaces. So much easier snd better on your knees than TPU plates, which will last forever but destroy your hips and knees in the process. Sadly, pairs will be severely limited but at least we will have something to offer you in the coming days. For those of you who have been waiting for the new turf shoe, they are coming we promise. We’ll have a few pictures to show you the design, but sadly will have to wait for Covid to relax it’s grip before we can get them to you. Stay fit, stay strong, stay safe! NYC schools closed for a month today. Happy to hear the children and teachers will be safe, but feeling empathy for the parents that need to find childcare. Stay in when you can, wash your hands and wash them again. We love you New York.
