Supermodel hosted the most beautiful release party for her new book ‘The Velvet Rose’ held at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. The event had a 90’s theme and she looked absolutely stunning in her 1990 s/s Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld black blazer dress from Timeless Vixen. I wore my 1992 s/s Alaïa striped knit bodycon dress, seen both on the runway and famously worn by Christy Turlington for French Elle Magazine. Congratulations Susan, we had the best time celebrating with you📖🎉

This iconic 1998 s/s Dolce & Gabbana ‘Stromboli’ collection hand-painted butterflies charcoal grey sheer silk corset gown has to be our favorite new arrival. Danielle Zinaich modeled this well-documented look on the runway. It was also a featured piece in the season’s ad campaign, worn by British model Erin O’Connor for the March 1998 issue of Vogue Italia. Constructed from lightweight sheer silk chiffon in a smoky charcoal grey hue, the dress feels almost weightless against the body. The neckline is softly sculpted into a gentle scoop shape, suspended from delicate spaghetti straps that beautifully expose the shoulders. Beneath the sheer chiffon is an interior corset with vertical boning that subtly shapes the waist and creates the unmistakable Dolce & Gabbana silhouette. The draped chiffon wrapping across the torso has been individually hand-tacked into place, and the effect is incredibly flattering on the figure. The dress then releases into a fluid bias-cut skirt that glides over the hips and falls effortlessly to the floor. A slit at the back allows you to move with ease, while two elongated chiffon panels descend dramatically from the corset back into layered trains that create eye-catching drama. Hand-crafted butterfly appliqués scattered throughout the bodice and hips elevate this archival masterpiece into a work of wearable art. Rendered in airy white silk with touches of pale pink and charcoal detailing, they appear to float across the surface of the gown. This ultra-rare dress is in store and online now at Timeless Vixen🦋

This captivating 1998 s/s Moschino navy blue star motif rhinestone silk slip dress is a standout from the collection. Shown as runway look 60 modeled by Michele Hicks, it perfectly captures the dreamy, slightly tongue-in-cheek sophistication Moschino did so well during the late 1990s. The flattering silhouette skims the body with the effortless glide associated with a bias-cut gown. The sheer navy silk chiffon, printed with scattered stars, immediately attracts the eye. Tiny rhinestones are sporadically placed throughout the motif, adding subtle glimmers of sparkle that make the fabric really feel like a midnight sky. Slim double straps frame the shoulders, leading into a softly ruched cowl bodice that drapes beautifully across the décolletage. A separate matching navy under slip with picot-style edging at the top and bottom hemline provides coverage while still allowing the outer layer to retain its airy transparency and fluid movement. The paneled construction through the waist and hips creates a long lean line that flatters without feeling restrictive. From every angle, the dress has the era’s unmistakable minimalist sensuality balanced with Moschino’s playful sense of fantasy. In store and online now at Timeless Vixen💫

This rare 1992 s/s Vivienne Westwood gingham cotton shorts and cropped bustier set is such a perfect summer ensemble. We were thrilled to spot this unforgettable archival set as look 104 on the runway. Additionally, Beverly Peele famously modeled it for the November 1992 issue of Elle US, while Stephanie Seymour also wore the design for the April 1992 issue of Allure magazine. Such supermodel provenance! Constructed from a lightweight blue and white cotton gingham, it instantly evokes warm-weather glamour with an unmistakable playful edge. The cropped bustier top is beautifully crafted with the fully b***d interior structure for which Westwood became known, sculpting the body while still feeling wearable. Three sparkling floral rhinestone buttons adorn the center front, leading down to a self-tie bow that adds even more charm. The shorts make the design truly epic. Cut higher at the waist to elongate the legs, they hug the hips before flaring out with layers of deep cobalt tulle and delicate blush-pink lace strips. The movement created by layers of trim netting is incredible in person, adding texture and drama with every step you take. Westwood had a genius ability to make something feel mischievous and refined at the same time, and this iconic set captures that energy flawlessly. This ethereal Christian Dior colorful rainbow stripe patterned sheer silk draped-cape goddess gown dates back to John Galliano’s 2008 resort collection. Vogue noted of this 1960’s socialite-inspired collection that Galliano had, “once again raised the bar for a season that just a few years ago was strictly a showroom affair,” and this eye-catching gown perfectly captures that spirit. Cut from airy silk chiffon, the dress is printed in bands of pink, sky blue, and golden yellow overlaid with a delicate white batik-inspired floral motif. The silhouette falls in a long fluid line that glides over the body without feeling restrictive, keeping the focus on the textile and draping. The bodice is beautifully constructed with gathered ruching that crosses softly over the bust before dipping into a flattering neckline. Sleeveless shoulder straps keep the front balanced while drawing attention to the dramatic cape panels attached at the shoulders. These full-length silk chiffon drapes cascade all the way to the floor, creating incredible drama from every angle. You can wear them flowing freely behind you for maximum impact or style them over the arms for a more Grecian effect that feels incredibly editorial. At the side, Galliano’s signature covered buttons close the gown with the kind of thoughtful detail collectors immediately recognize. This undeniably chic archival gown is perfect for a destination wedding, a summer gala, or a striking resort look. In store and online now at Timeless Vixen 🌈✨

This rare 1956 s/s Pierre Balmain haute couture ivory lace strapless full-skirt dress is such a beautiful way to honor the designer on his birthday. Pierre Balmain built his house on a vision of refined Parisian elegance, becoming one of the leading couturiers of the post-war era with his impeccable craftsmanship. He worked alongside Christian Dior and Hubert de Givenchy at Lucien Lelong’s atelier before launching his own house in 1945. His designs quickly became a favorite of royalty and Hollywood stars, including Marlene Dietrich, Brigitte Bardot, and Sophia Loren.
This breathtaking, highly coveted dress is a wonderful example of his genius. We were thrilled to find the long version of this exact design worn by Renée Breton in a French fashion magazine editorial. The garment is designed to sculpt and flatter, with a strapless bodice that highlights the shoulders and décolletage. The bust is formed from beautifully folded white silk jersey, softly shaped to create dimension. At the center, a band of ruched sky-blue silk taffeta weaves just below the bust, wrapping the torso before tying at the back. The interior construction is exactly what you would expect from true haute couture. The fully b***d bustier offers structure and support, while the sharply nipped waist creates that iconic ‘new look’ silhouette. From there, the dress opens into a full, sweeping skirt that holds its shape with ease while maintaining a sense of movement. The dress is primarily composed of exquisite French Alençon lace, featuring intricate meshwork motifs outlined with a raised rim of fine silk cording. Up close, the texture reveals the extraordinary level of handwork involved—each pattern is lightly dimensional, almost floating over the base. At the hem, the lace has been meticulously hand-stitched onto a silk organza edging, providing a clean finish. Beneath, layers of silk tulle and netted underskirts create volume and lift, allowing the skirt to maintain its form without feeling heavy. Every element is intentional. This archival Balmain is in store and online now at Timeless Vixen🕊️

A gorgeous John Galliano embroidered floral sheer pointelle black knit bias-cut gown from his epic 2003 fall/winter collection. This slinky knit floor-length beauty perfectly captures his fascination with 1930’s glamour, blending the romance and sensual detailing that became signatures of his work.
Fashioned in a sheer black stretch knit wool blend, the gown elongates the body and molds to your curves. The neckline is softly scooped with ultra-fine knit straps trimmed with delicate picot edging, giving them the appearance of antique lingerie. The front bodice reveals one of the design’s smartest details: an inner layer of black silk chiffon that lightly provides coverage exactly where needed. The knit drapes open slightly at the chest, allowing a glimpse of the most stunning embroidered floral motif. Such a sensual detail! At the lower half of the dress, a hidden layer of stretch silk jersey begins at the hip and stops above the knee, subtly grounding the transparency while preserving the design’s lightness. From there, the skirt releases into a sweeping floor-length shape that moves beautifully as you walk. At the hem, four godet-style chiffon panels embroidered with the same colorful florals appear almost like insets of antique lingerie. The embroidery itself feels incredibly special against the black palette. Unlike the front, the back bodice allows the sheer knit to reveal glimpses of skin beneath the intricate patterning. Totally seductive, yet still refined in the way only Galliano could achieve. A special archival gown that commands attention from every angle, in store and online now at Timeless Vixen💐

This rare 1995 s/s Valentino periwinkle & pale yellow floral silk strapless gown is a chic way to honor Valentino Garavani on his birthday. From the 1960’s right up until his passing, his work defined a certain kind of refined European luxury.
Documented on the runway as look 103, this alluring gown perfectly captures the softness and elegance that made Valentino’s collections from the 1990’s so memorable. Cut from weightless silk chiffon in a dreamy palette of periwinkle blue and pale yellow, the floral motif feels both light and balanced. The flattering nipped-waist silhouette falls in a long, lean line. At the bodice, finely ruched chiffon wraps across the low-cut strapless in a sculptural composition that almost resembles gathered petals. The workmanship here is incredible. From the waist down, the gown is constructed from four individual layers of silk chiffon—two form the fitted under-skirt while two additional layers drape loosely over the body. Even more impressive, the floral print aligns throughout the cascading panels with meticulous attention to detail. The most captivating element is undoubtedly the attached chiffon shawl, cleverly anchored at the side bust for endless styling possibilities. You can wear it draped across the shoulders, wrapped elegantly around the neck like a scarf or crossed dramatically over the back for a more directional look. When extended outward, the fabric creates an almost cape-like effect that photographs amazingly well in motion. It completely transforms the dress depending on how you style it, making the piece incredibly versatile. This archival look delivers the unique elegance Valentino was known for. In store and online now at Timeless Vixen💐

This seductive Dolce & Gabbana metallic silver brocade corset dress with a built-in bra dates back to their 2003 spring/summer collection. It shares details seen on runway looks 28 and 29. This archival dress has such a sleek silhouette, cut to closely follow your curves from the bust through the hips before falling to a refined below-the-knee length. The fabric is what immediately draws you in: a shimmering metallic silver brocade woven with a soft, almost feathered pattern that catches the light with every step. Fully lined in matching silk, it feels heavenly against the skin. At the neckline, a black built-in bra is intentionally revealed, adding significant s*x appeal and showcasing the house’s signature lingerie-inspired aesthetic. From the back, the dress transforms into something even more compelling—a full lace-up closure that runs the length of the piece, allowing for a customizable fit while adding serious visual intrigue.
Iconic pieces like this represent a defining period for Dolce & Gabbana, where craftsmanship and allure worked in perfect harmony. In store and online now at Timeless Vixen🔥
