In moments of uncertainty and darkness, we turn our eyes heavenwards, as if calling for a higher power to take us away from our earthly travails. But hanging in the velvet night, there is the Moon, watching over us night after night.

Like the linen makers of old, who would lay their fabric at night in the fields so that they would turn immaculate, we too expose our selves to her unwavering yet serene gaze. Bathed in moonlight, feelings are purified, dark thoughts are washed away. Poetry becomes the only currency with which to purchase passage into her silver realm.

In times where our future is unknown, the collection becomes a place of discovery, where feelings are reflected in the moonlight, vanishing dark thoughts away. Positivity and purity become the palette from which silhouettes are cut. Draped in its gleaming rays, structures appear clearly, textures stand bright – every silhouette, an exercise in precision, a promise of power, a wish cast into the mysterious immensity. 2020 brought many many challenges and miseries and hardship to everyone and it brought a little extra for me and my family with the loss of my younger brother but one thing for sure is that life will go on and must move forward and we must learn how to move forward with the pain of loosing a family member or friend, the injustice in the world, the poverty, the daily struggle to make a better living for our family and ourselves. I am trying to find my way among all of this and hopefully time will heal and most importantly that we need to keep the faith in God . My only wish in 2021 for everyone I know and I may not know is to be HEALTHY. I pray to my brother’s soul samer and my cousin albert, Nehme, rabih, Vicken, roberto, karen, and to all my family members who passed away, the innocent souls who lost their lives in Covid 19 or the beirut explosion or who suffered any illnesses around the world. May your souls Rest In Peace and may you always look after us from above. You will always be in our heart and prayers and may God gives us the strength to overcome your losses. May 2021 brings peace of mind and light and love to all of us. Thank you to all my friends around the world who stood by me in these difficult times. Sending you love ❤️
