Blumera Summerland is now open. ✨
For the next six weeks, I have created a world of sacred luxury where sculptural lighting, hand-carved furniture, luxury handbags, fine art, silk scarves, jewelry, and beautiful objects come together under one roof.
This space is deeply personal to me. It is a celebration of sacred luxury, extraordinary craftsmanship, the places and cultures that have inspired me, and the paintings of my late mother, Laurie Blum, whose spirit lives within so much of what I create.
For the opening, I wore a custom Blumera dress created from her painting Conference of the Birds. I transformed the background to yellow and drew out her roses, camellias, and hummingbirds, allowing the painting to move from the walls and scarves into something I could wear.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and filled the space with so much love, beauty, and warmth.
A very special thank you to our wonderful hosts, Belle Hahn, Dina Cantin, Heidi Merrick, Meredith Markworth-Pollack, and Palma Collective, for welcoming Blumera to Summerland with such generosity and love.
And a heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, whose support helped make the evening so beautiful and celebratory.
I cannot wait to welcome you into the world of Blumera.

At the heart of this image is my new table, hand-carved with imagery from my mother’s Conference of the Birds. Around it are pieces from the world that has grown from her paintings: the Poppies vase, Poppies silk scarves, and our brand-new greeting cards featuring Poppies and Conference of the Birds.
The Conference of the Birds chandelier glowing beside the Pink Blush bag carried by Angel Reese to the Met Gala, our small brass Hummingbird and Quail Flat Circle, and a glimpse of the Conference of the Birds shawl.
