When my friend told me the dress code for her wedding was “formal black attire,” I knew the Prosecco was the dress for the job. My grandmother’s needlepoint handbag completed the outfit, but per usual, it couldn’t fit everything I needed, so sunglasses and phone were stashed safely in my pockets all night long!

The Prosecco dress hit mailboxes earlier this month and it’s been fun to hear from customers who love the new style! Rosie requested a longer style years ago and I filed it away in my mind, hoping we would be able to make it happen at some point. She waited patiently for the Prosecco to launch and I was delighted to receive a note with her reaction above once she tried it on ✨ Anyone else wishing for a new color or specific style detail? Last week we shared a trivia question to our stories asking where in Grand Central Jen and Alexis were headed in their Prosecco dresses to grab a fancy cocktail. Congrats to for being the first to give the correct answer of The Campbell bar! It’s one of my favorite secret spots tucked away in one of NYC’s most iconic buildings. Highly recommend it!

Last weekend the Prosecco in black sold out in every size except XS! 🍾 ✨ Emerald sizes S and XL sold out too, so we submitted a rush order to our factory for a few more. Miraculously, since the Prosecco is based on an existing style, the cut and sew team was able to quickly make additional dresses this past week! If you didn’t get one, now’s your chance.

Limited Quantities Available Tomorrow At 8am ET! 🍾

Introducing The Prosecco, your go-to party dress whether you pair it with heels for a formal holiday affair or with sandals for a casual gathering! Its pleated skirt is ready for stashing a small bottle of bubbly at the ready for your next BYOB occasion. With its long pleated skirt, the Prosecco is The Clementine’s big sister. These two dress styles are almost identical, with the only difference being the Prosecco has an extra 16” of fabric attached at the bottom. At 51” long (size S), it’s the longest dress we’ve ever made!

I had planned to take pre-orders for The Prosecco, but Fall got away from me. We needed to go ahead and place the production order a couple of weeks ago to get them in time for (some) holiday parties. Because this style is based on existing inventory of the Clementine, it is extremely limited and only available in sizes XS to XL. Some sizes will only have one dress made in each color! All dresses will ship by this Monday so they will hopefully reach you in time for holiday parties in mid-to-late December. 💌
