A little over 4 years ago I printed the first Shiny Paint Causes Stress shirt. I posted it on here and sold 50 that night.

It would be so cool to make that happen again.

I still print them in my garage. Print them on the same press with the same screen.

Message me to get yours.

Does anyone on here race valve cover cars?

We’re building a track so that we can race at my restaurant (The Real B.A. Colonial) on Tuesdays. I’m pretty excited.

My Dad built me a car 35 years ago or so and we raced a few times. I’m excited to see it coming back!

Check out the The National Valve Cover Racing Association to see more. That’s where I got this picture, but can’t figure out how to tag the owner.

Back in 2017 we were getting close on the second of three ‘32 roadsters that we built. We were thrashing hard and got it done the day before we took it to the Street Rod Nationals.

Our buddy Bob helped us with a lot of the parts and a ton of wisdom. Thanks Bob. These were fun.

FREE DECIMAL EQUIVALENT CHART!

You need one! Comment CHART below and I’ll DM you the link to download the full-resolution file — FREE.

My dad is a machinist, and for as long as I can remember, a decimal equivalent chart like this has hung in his garage.

It’s one of those old-school shop tools that’s just damn handy to have around.

So we made our own Rod Shop Collective Machine Shop Reference Chart with an old-school design that actually looks good hanging above the toolbox.

Save it. Print it. Hang it in the garage. Keep it handy on your phone.

COMMENT “CHART” AND I’LL SEND IT TO YOU FREE.

Already off to a great start to the Street Rod Nationals here in Louisville. The restaurant has been busy and it’s been fun seeing everyone.

Going to be a great weekend. If you’re in town, come see us at The B.A. Colonial. We’re the local hot rod bar in town and are just 3 miles from the show.

Every piece on these walls has a story — and most of ’em are Louisville stories. Take a walk through The B.A. Colonial (my bar and restaurant) with us and see what almost 40 years of hot rod culture looks like hanging on a bar.

It’s Street Rod Nationals week, and if you’re in town for the show, you’re 3 miles from a cold beer and a building full of the same passion that brought you here. Come find us in the South End. Doors are open, stories are free.

John Carter’s funny cars were legendary around our town. His speed shop, Carter’s Speed Shop, had all of the go-fast goodies.

Carter’s is one of several Louisville area historic speed shop t-shirts I sell at the t-shirt cabinet at (my restaurant here in Louisville).

If you’re in town for the nationals this week come by and see us for a killer burger, cold beer, and a t-shirt.

I’ve always like this picture. This was my Dad’s Vega that he built and raced at our local track, Ohio Valley Dragway.

He built everything in the car himself and his brother Tim painted it.

What’s cooler is he built it in the same garage where we’ve built all of our hot rods.

Wherever you are, whatever size shop you have, get out there and build something cool!

Genuine Ford Parts felt banner — 25”x36”, hand screen printed one at a time right here in the shop.

My mom sews the hem on top of every one so they hang right. That’s the whole operation. No factory, no overseas print run — just us, some screens, and a stack of felt that smells like a hardware store.

Held mine up so you could see the size and the print up close. It’s the kind of thing that used to hang in every garage that mattered. Figured it should again.

Handmade doesn’t mean expensive — $45 for one made by real hands, not a machine.

Link in bio.
