All good things must come to an end. Never thought I'd be making this post, but it's been heavy on my heart for the past 6 months.... I've decided to close the storefront and go completely with an online only model. This will also include pop ups & festivals.

I've tried for a long time to just "fake it til you make it" and have poured my heart and soul into this store. I loved every minute of it creatively, it was my happy space for a long time being in the shop and curating my own little special nook for people. I have meet countless wonderful people that I have become friends with...and I absolutely LOVE helping people find a special outfit for any occasion.

But what you don't know is how STRESSFUL it has been for me. To be a one woman show and work ALL the time, and then not be able to pay myself for the time that I put in. I have not "had a paycheck" in over 2 years, every dime has gone back into the store to keep it running. I've even taken on other jobs to help make sure bills get paid which is just been adding to the stress. Since starting the store, I've developed a form of dermatitis that I was told is commonly seen because of stress, I've had singles which I was told is triggered by stress and have had countless meltdowns because of being just mentally drained. I'm not telling you this to "feel sorry" for me, but to just let you know about the hard part of being a small business owner, especially in retail!! I've been in a constant state of worry too because of it, as this is my only income. And honestly as I've been thinking and praying on this for the past several months, I do not want to be this stressed for the rest of my life.

So my last day in the store open will be the 27th and I will be officially moved out by the 29th, the building will be up for rent after that (I do not own, but if interested let me know and I can give you contact info for that). I need to move as much as possible as I can't store everything that I have for online....my online I'm gonna revamp maybe rename not sure but will be on this page and I will be constantly posting and updating.
