Today, we are honoring Hunter Newton, a dedicated LMPD officer, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Hunter loved fitness and running and had a discipline that inspired the people around him. But beyond his dedication, he was goofy, kind, and had a heart of gold. He loved kids, animals, and the people in his life deeply.
His family describes him as someone who made others want to be better simply by the way he lived.
Hunter’s life was so much more than the way it ended. His story reminds us that even the strongest people can be carrying struggles we cannot see.
Check on your people. Listen. Stay connected. You never know who may need someone to remind them they’re not alone.
We’re honored to wear this shirt in Hunter’s memory and help keep his story, and the message of su***de prevention, moving forward.
Help is available. Speak with someone today if you or someone you know is in need.
