"give em' heaven"

I threw this one together rather quickly. I am reminded of this advice/phrase daily. It is some of the coolest advice he ever gave me. Whether it's an anthem or a calm whisper to yourself.. Keep going!

From family road trips to a 'quick' Meijer run, pops was notorious for this saying. "It's another great day to be 'out n' about".

The photo attached to this shirt goes out to pops circa the late 1990's - early 2000's. That's when everywhere we went involved "Big Blue". Over the years our family went through several daily drivers, but I don't think anything beats when that blue van was around. I choose the Ford Pinto Cruiser for the shirt design because that's what Pop was driving when he convinced my mom to go out on a date with him.

This design is another one I can hear him say clear as day!

You know when you are in the grocery store and you suddenly see someone you know? You have two options.. hope they don't see you and make an introverted run for it.. or pull a Don and shout for all to hear, "Hidi-ho neighbor!" or a good old fashion "Well, HOWDY". If you saw him anywhere around town, or several states away from home & he knew you.. this was probably the response you got!
