Currently at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction , it’s a Full House! Crystal has been here since mid-afternoon and is making great progress on a couple of different quilt projects.

Brooklyn is sewing squares together to make a quilted 🎀 door decoration (which are all the rage these days), and Jenny is working on the same quilt pattern that Crystal and I have been working on.

However, right now, I’m doing “carpentry” of a sort. I’m making a bookshelf! Stay tuned!

Currently at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction — we have written a success story for a rush order! 💥😁

This beautiful quilt will be on on the road with Jenny as she travels to this weekend’s family reunion. I love the way it turned out! Jenny and her cousin did a great job with the patchwork.

As an entrepreneur, I wear many hats. And I have a lot of flexibility in deciding how to best use my time. I love being able to switch gears on short notice to accommodate a good friend and customer. I can’t always do that, but in this case—and with a lot of help from God—I could. 👏🎉🤩

Currently at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction: I’m on the homestretch with this lovely patriotic Family Reunion quilt. I’m on track to get it finished ahead of my 1:00 deadline. 👏

Currently at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction, I’m sewing the label onto the back of Jenny’s family reunion quilt. After a little mishap/delay, I was able to get the quilting finished just before supper. All the usual cleanup is now done. After I get the label sewn on, I’ll put the binding on and be completely finished with it. I think I’m going to hit my deadline of tomorrow mid-morning. 👏

This afternoon/evening at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction , Brooklyn came to sew and finished this bright patchwork panel (first of four).

I got Pat’s colorful baby quilt completely finished. I also finished making the binding and label for Jenny’s family reunion quilt BUT I failed to take a picture of those. I will finish loading the quilt top and do the quilting and finish it over the next 36 hours. 😳 Please pray for me too maintain my sanity! Whirlwind week for us in the studio!

Currently at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction, I finished the embroidery and I’m working on the binding for a family reunion quilt that is another “rush” order. 😳

This afternoon at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction, my new Sewing Basics 101 group made GREAT progress! 👏🎉

They learned to do raw edge applique, which is a very useful technique. Then, they made embellished sachet pillows filled with dried lavender flowers. But most of all, we had a ton of fun and learned a bunch of basic sewing skills. We kept laughing and cracking ourselves up. Of course, I reminded them that I was the one who was having the most fun. 😆💥👏😎

One of the best parts of the day was watching the three of them congratulate and complement each other on their handiwork (see the last 4 photos). That was very gratifying for me. It’s a superb group, and a great time was had by all! 😁💯

Earlier today at Quilting Inspirations and Sewing Instruction, Charlotte continued working on some quilted sneakers. I got thread tails buried and made the binding for Pat’s sweet little baby quilt. Progress! 👏
