Does your horse anticipate the barrel before you ask?

The breaking-off correction teaches your horse to stay patient, balanced, and wait for your cue instead of diving into the turn.

By making a small circle in the opposite direction just before the barrel, you help your horse:

• Stay in the pocket

• Stop dropping the shoulder

• Stay between your hands and legs

• Wait for your rate cue instead of guessing

The goal isn’t to punish anticipation; it’s to replace it with balance, softness, and trust in the rider.
