Saw this in a post this morning and it hit me straight in the gut and I wasn’t ready! Most of you know my kids are “aging out” of our store, my baby was only six when we started and that’s so hard to even comprehend how it all happened so fast! Even though I don’t get the “perks” of seeing all the new arrivals and getting first dibs because mine are “too cool” for the kids section now, I still love being a valuable resource for the community of moms who are just starting out, or in the middle of their toddlers becoming big kids because not too long ago I was there too, and would have LOVED to have something like this available! Don’t blink, it all goes way too fast!

“Nobody prepares you for 5T being the last size in the toddler section…
There’s no 6T.
After this, you’re shopping in the big kid section.
And I know it’s just clothes…
But I swear I was JUST folding newborn onesies.
JUST washing tiny little pajamas.
JUST wondering how my baby would ever grow into 12-month clothes.
And now we’re running out of toddler sizes.
One day, I’ll walk right past this section of the store without needing a single thing.
The tiny outfits will still be there.
But my baby won’t be tiny anymore.
And that’s the part of motherhood nobody prepares you for.
You spend so much time buying the next size up that you don’t realize you’re saying goodbye to another little version of your baby.
Until one day, the section of the store that held their entire little wardrobe becomes a place you don’t shop anymore.”🤍
