Today was the initial move in day into LIVERY STABLE ANTIQUES IN BELL BUCKLE. This is just the beginning of at least a three week move in, but it’s now happening. Look for more rustic items and furniture to be put in place this month. This is a pretty big antique store - you can almost get lost in it! Have fun exploring, and be sure to check out David Farris’ area in the front if you like primitives, he has a fabulous and historical collection of many fine items.

More News. I’ll be slowly moving into Livery Stable Antiques in Bell Buckle, TN over the next month. This venue will be better suited to rustic pieces that don’t fit in very well at the other places I’m vending at.

So this is a bit of fun history in Lincoln County TN!

Bought this jug at auction in a “lot” of various items. The handle is broken on the back side. I thought it was fake. Conferred with people who are familiar with these things and they said it was real. Upon further research found the same one sold last year at Case Auctions for a very large amount of money, then found the merchant who had the liquor store in Fayetteville which was in business from 1873 to 1883.

It’s not making into any of the antique spaces because I had it sold to a private party 15 minutes after I won the bid. I’m sure there is more history to be found from Southern Middle Tennessee. You never know what you will find!

I am in the process of vacating Fayetteville Antique Mall and will be out of there by August 5th. I’m packing smalls weekly to move out. However, everything is 20% off. There are some nice pieces of furniture at good prices.
