Some people leave footprints. David left a legacy of faith.

For the past several years, David faithfully walked through our doors multiple times a week—not to shop, but to serve. Sometimes alone, sometimes with friends, or even someone on the phone. He would stand in our prayer chapel, filling the table with prayer requests, praying over each one by name, and welcoming anyone who walked in to pray alongside him. He prayed for people who have since been healed, saved, delivered, and so much more.

He never missed an opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel. Through countless stories, prayers, and words of wisdom, he pointed us back to Jesus time and time again. He was someone we leaned on, asked to pray for us, and looked forward to seeing every week.

If you knew David, you knew his joy. You knew his smile. You probably heard him walk through the door saying, “How are thou today?” before sharing another story with us. He never failed to give us a hard time for being cold all the time.

While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that the servant who so faithfully told others about Jesus is now in His presence.

David, thank you for every prayer, every conversation, every word of encouragement, and every reminder to keep our eyes on Christ. Your impact on our store, our team, and so many lives will never be forgotten.
