First time consigning with Half-Pint? Welcome! Here are our top tips to make it easy AND profitable: 💛

1. Start small — You don't have to consign everything your first time. Pick one category and build from there.

2. Focus on quality — Gently used, clean, in-season items sell best. If you wouldn't hand it to a friend or buy it yourself, don't consign it.

3. Use our pricing guide — We give detailed guidance. When in doubt: "What would I pay for this secondhand?"

4. Prep like a pro — Clean items, check for stains/damage, make sure everything's complete (all puzzle pieces, working zippers, no knee holes).

5. Let the app help — Our EasyTag app does the heavy lifting — just talk or snap a photo. First 10 items free!

6. Don't stress — Tutorials, helpers, and a whole community have your back. You've got this! 💪

Kids' winter gear is EXPENSIVE. 🥶

A new coat, snow pants, boots, hat, and mittens? You could easily drop $150+ per kid — and that's before they inevitably lose one mitten before we even hit December. My family has lost So. Many. Mittens.

“24 pencils" = bought once, lost immediately to be rebought in desperation at 11pm one school night, and then somehow to be found again during the great June backpack excavation.
"Sensible walking shoes" = the ones they'll refuse to wear by week two.
"Label everything" = write your kid's name 47 times the night before school starts.
"Just a few things" = an entire cart, $200, and your weekend.
