Did you know.....Newspapers used to print paper dolls and paper doll clothes in the daily/weekly newspaper. I came across these paper dolls & clothes last week and thought they were so cute I bought a frame for them. The envelope said "Nana's paper dolls". On the back of the clothes some have comics and some have newsprint. I can't tell what newspaper they came from. "Nana" or the newspaper had named this one Janet and Nana wrote Janet on the back of each of the clothes. The other paper dolls she or the newspaper named were Kathy and Linda. I am going to frame them also. Will put them in the store.
My Mother had found my Grandma's paper dolls back in the c1990s and framed them for me. I have them hanging in the guest bedroom.

Love it when customers send pictures of their creativity with items they purchased from the store. This couple bought 2 Atlas Good Luck jars that had old wooden thread spools - Added fairly lights and used as outdoor table decorations. Also purchased an old light fixture, ran LED Italian lights around it and hung it in a tree. Great Job Roller Coaster Jeff!!!
Vintage Finds

People have been asking for vintage percolators. Now I know why. I had no idea they were so expensive. I was hoping to find a Corning Ware percolator but found a Pyrex 8859-B complete. On Ebay two sold. One for $129 and another for $121.25. I have this one marked $85. No chips, no cracks.

New in Store Today! We've brought in several pieces of "new to us" furniture some dating back to 1890's. A mahogany Victorian dining table, a Secretary desk, a pie safe with glass doors and a pie safe with screen doors. Some small occasional tables, a baker's rack and coming in the next couple of days an antique sideboard.

What a Great Time yesterday at the Cowboy Days in Madisonville. Everyone one was having a great time getting out, socializing, roping with the kids and listening to music. The event was from 2pm to 8pm, but by 2pm Director of Tourism Shelby came by and said she had so many vendors, even vendors that could not be here yesterday, request to sign up for the next Cowboy Days. So she went ahead and set the date for November 7, 2026.

We have Cookies, Lemon Water, Lone Star Beer, Chardonnay and Cabernet. Stop in and look around at our Cowboy items. Everything from a Saddle rack, chaps, a custom made Texas outdoor chair, farmhouse table, halters bits and western decor
Woodbine Inn & Restaurant, , , , , all open late and have Western/Cowboy related vendors in their stores.

For all our Vinyl / LP Record collectors and shoppers. Friday we will be pulling all the 33RPM records off the floor and replacing with 180+ Vinyl LPs we have purchased. We know you have probably gotten tired of looking through the same vinyls several times over - so we are bringing in different ones to look through. There are some good ones in this grouping.

Lots of variety...If you don't see it ask. Both seller groups have things in storage just because we don't have enough space to bring everything in. Lately, we have sold 2 pieces of furniture that were in storage waiting to come in. We'll take pictures and have then in the store just in case.
