I found this Most magical flocked daisy sheer at the The Thrift Shop! I used there tatted lace off a few vintage pillows I have for the straps and ruffle! I’m just I love with this delicate dress! Modeled by sweet niece Nita♡ ! Knowers of things: how old do you think the flocked daisy is?! Is it 70s? lol

Mushroom Family on a woodland outing is my favorite appliqués to do!! Finished last February but it’s such a summer jam! I hand drew these appliqués using H&B and stuck them to my stash of vintage batiks, before sewing them down!

The Whimsical Dress by sewing pattern launches today!!!! What a knock out dress! A magical dress that features a shirred tie system that gives shape at your comfort level! In LOVE! I used two pillow cases and a top sheet to create this fantastical beauty! ( sheets from who is having her weekly linen sale TODAY). Deets: First time using elastic thread to shirt, WTF so easy! I made a size 32, a fba and shortened the bodice a bit. Definitely will make more!!

Love that my favorite, T, scooped this apron top up so fast! A little piece of magic! While the carousel panel steals the show, there’s actually four different fabrics that match so good! If you’ve ever heard me talk about my upcycled and vintage sewing, you know my favorite part is the magic of these materials traveling through time and space to end up in my hands together!

Jitterbug Jumper Pattern Drop Today!! Justice McNeil Sumser fun and simple jumper is a quick make with only a couple pieces, pockets and bias tape! A Joy to pattern test, I made this cutie in one afternoon using this bright batik cotton twill! So cozy and we all love a “throw on and go!”
